Firstly, I discovered my passion for helping veterinarians find the best fit for their careers and witnessing the joy of clinics when we found them a new doctor. This experience highlighted the significant need for external recruiters in the industry. With so many clinics and corporations searching for talent, veterinarians often feel overwhelmed by the constant outreach, leading to stress and missed opportunities. A dedicated recruiting partner can streamline this process, reducing noise and allowing veterinarians to focus on their demanding jobs.
Secondly, I noticed a glaring issue with the affordability of external recruiting services. Many companies charge exorbitant fees (20-30%), which can be detrimental to clinics and doctors, especially when charged upfront. Most clinics bonus structures rely on EBITA or the P&L, and hefty upfront fees can disrupt these financial metrics. This situation impacts not just the clinic but also the support staff and other doctors, limiting bonuses and the ability to afford new, necessary equipment.
This is why I decided to start Golden Recruiting. I was tired of seeing clinics struggle financially just because they hired a new doctor. It should be just the opposite. Golden Recruiting aims to fill a significant void in the veterinary industry by providing affordable recruiting services that genuinely care about the success of everyone involved. With an industry-low fee structure and flexible payment options, we ensure that everyone wins at the end of the day.
I know firsthand that a large upfront fee can be absolutely devastating to a clinic, even a successful one. We plan to change this. We believe there is no reason everyone cannot win!
